Nigerian businessman and ex-husband of Tonto Dikeh, Olakunle Churchill, has written a note to Regina Daniels. Following the news of her inability to walk, he revealed via his social media page that the first thing he did when he heard of her situation was to put a call through to pray with her and encourage her. Churchill said he understands how much life’s circumstances can weigh on a person and make them want to give up.
He said he is proud to see her come out and speak about her experiences with so much grace. Wishing her a happy birthday, he rained prayers on her. “So! When I first heard about what happened to Regina Daniels, the first thing I did was call to pray with her and encourage her. I understand how much life’s circumstances can weigh on a person and make them feel like giving up, and I’m genuinely proud to see her come out and speak about her experiences with so much grace.
Happy birthday. I pray this new chapter brings you healing, peace, strength, and the kind of joy no circumstances can take away. May God hold you close, restore every part of you that life has made weary and remind you that your story is far from over. My true prayer for you in this new year of your life is that you be blessed and filled with beautiful reasons to smile again. May you never lose sight of how much more life still has in store for you”.
Weeks ago, reports made the rounds that Churchill was arrested in Switzerland following an alleged tax evasion crime. Addressing it, Churchill said Nigerians can be their own biggest problem, noting a high rate of jealousy, negativity, and the spread of false information. He said he had chosen to keep many aspects of his personal and business life private, which many misconstrued as trying to hide.
Churchill made it known that he had no police case, court case, or criminal matter. Some months ago, the father of Tonto Dikeh’s son had queried men after he discovered that over 93% of people engaging with his content were women. The father of four questioned what he had done to Nigerian men, as he vowed to support women through his foundation continually. Last year, Churchill said he survived what was meant to shatter him, and God rewrote his story.
Reacting to the backlash over his post, he said he had been reading the comments and noticed that intelligence had left the chat. Two years ago, Churchill penned an appreciation post to the public as he reflected on his career journey, which began in 2005 and has continued to soar beyond his wildest imaginations. He stated that he not only celebrates the success of his brand but the collective efforts of those who supported and contributed to the remarkable journey.
He had reflected on his series of scandals over the years, noting how many have been envious of him and have been planning ways of bringing him down. However, he stands unwavering because he is a child of God. The philanthropist pointed out how those who have tried pulling him down are always stagnant, or their life conditions have deteriorated.
