My Wife Wanted A Divorce After I Sponsored Her Abroad For 15 Years -Okey Bakassi
Nigerian stand-up comedian and actor Okechukwu Anthony Onyegbule, popularly known as Okey Bakassi, has revealed that he wife planning divorce after sponsoring her relocation to the United States 15 years ago.
Okey Bakassi has opened up about the challenges he is facing in his marriage after his wife expressed a desire to part ways.
He Said, "My kids went with my wife when she went to nursing school in the United States. I was earning in Naira while paying her fees abroad. I have spent fifteen years working and sending money overseas. What's the issue now? My wife called last week and asked for a divorce. She said, 'We don’t even really have a marriage anymore because we have been apart for over a decade.'"
