KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable contract terms. Oversee purchase orders for local and foreign supplies, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Develop cost-saving strategies and optimise procurement expenditure. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance.
Collaborate with relevant departments on demand forecasting and inventory management. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, applicable regulations, and company standards. Identify supply chain risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. Lead, coach, and supervise the procurement team to achieve operational targets. Prepare procurement reports, analyse performance data, and recommend improvements.
