A Nigerian man claiming to be a landlord shared a video of himself with a bandaged left eye and says his tenant punched him following a notice about raising the rent. The tenant had allegedly lived in his self-contained apartment for six years and the rent started at ₦200,000 a year. The landlord says he has increased it every year and this time he planned to raise it to ₦350,000.
The tenant allegedly punched him in the eye for thinking about such... Nigerians are really suffering in the hands of their landlords...If you hear the stories you will scream….Someone had her rent increased from 5m to 7m and then this year to 15m without notice...She didnt pay rent for 6 months until she found a new place which she says is even better….I told her the new landlord would do same soon...
