Nigerian pastor Prophet Onu Emeka has stirred conversations online after claiming that he prayed for a car without an engine and it moved to a mechanic. In a video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the cleric spoke about the power of prayer, insisting that his experience demonstrated the power of God. According to Onu, the car had no engine but still moved to a mechanic after he prayed.
The prophet further challenged those who doubted his account to bring a car so they could test his claim by removing its engine. “Una no know me oo. I have prayed for a car, a car without engine. Without engine, and the car move to mechanic. Without engine. No engine in the car. If you think I’m lying now, let me use one of your car, anybody that brings car as an example. Let them remove the engine and see if that the car will not move,” Onu stated.
He argued that some people give their lives to Christ because they witness demonstrations of God’s power, questioning whether hearing that Jesus died for them would be enough to convince them. The cleric’s claim has drawn attention to his account of what he described as a demonstration of the power of prayer.
