Regional cuisines can vary based on availability and usage of specific ingredients, local cooking traditions and practices, as well as overall cultural differences. Such factors can be more-or-less uniform across wide swaths of territory, or vary intensely within individual regions. For example, in Central and North South America, corn (maize), both fresh and dried, is a staple food, and is used in many different ways.

I haven't made Eba in a long while so I decided to make it yesterday.

While making it, I noticed something. No matter how hard I tried to change my pattern, I couldn't.

My pattern is: I mash the garri twice against the pot, then I turn it once, then I repeat. Mash twice, turn once.

European Cuisine............

01

European cuisine (alternatively, "Western cuisine&quot includes the cuisines of Europe and other Western countries. European cuisine includes non-indigenous cuisines of North America, Australasia, Oceania and Latin America as well. The term is used by East Asians to contrast with East Asian styles of cooking. When used in English, the term may refer more specifically to cuisine in (Continental) Europe; in this context, a synonym is Continental cuisine.

Nutrition...........

01

Nutrition is the biochemical and physiological process by which an organism uses food and water to support its life. The intake of these substances provides organisms with nutrients (divided into macro- and micro-) which can be metabolized to create energy and chemical structures; too much or too little of an essential nutrient can cause malnutrition.

Food Source.......( Animal )

01

Animals are used as food either directly or indirectly. This includes meat, eggs, shellfish and dairy products like milk and cheese. They are an important source of protein and are considered complete proteins for human consumption as they contain all the essential amino acids that the human body needs. One 4-ounce (110 g) steak, chicken breast or pork chop contains about 30 grams of protein.

Food Taste....,..........

01

Taste

Animals, specifically humans, typically have five different types of taste sense: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami. The differing tastes are important for distinguishing between foods that are nutritionally beneficial and those which may contain toxins. As animals have evolved, the tastes that provide the most energy are the most pleasant to eat while others are not enjoyable, although humans in particular can acquire a preference for some substances which are initially unenjoyable.Water, while important for survival, has no taste.

Eating practices among humans

Many homes have a large kitchen area devoted to preparation of meals and food, and may have a dining room, dining hall, or another designated area for eating.

Most societies also have restaurants, food courts, and food vendors so that people may eat when away from home, when lacking time to prepare food, or as a social occasion.

A few weeks back, the Director General of NAFDAC was heard saying that the body does not have oversight over the sale of adulterated and chemicalized food products in Nigerian markets. This assertion, to my mind is uncalled for.

For the sake of the health of the public, all consumer foods regulatory bodies(NAFDAC, FCCPC, SON, NQC, NAQS and others) must rise up to strictly act in order to curtail these dangerous practices by some unscrupulous Nigerians.
