It is interesting to know that there are some people who can spend N30k-N50k every week at a local restaurant or bukka and the food will be much - I hail o. In an economy where you want to save money it depends largely on what you earn. Come to think of it, if you like food a lot, it is no one's business to talk about how much you can spend at the canteen.

I love preparing meals with little amounts of money - you don't have to break the bank to cook nutritious meals. Naija is hard and most families are struggling to feed. The key is to buy directly from village markets, where foodstuffs are cheaper, and to buy in bulk. (Thread of budget meals: e.g. rice with boiled eggs/beef - pepper N200, tomato N300, red oil N200, maggi N50, larso spice N100, beef N500, 2 cups rice N400, iru/locust beans N100; spaghetti meal - spaghetti N700, pepper N200, tomato sachet N150, red oil N200, maggi N100, iru N100, plus scent leaf/ugu from the garden - total N1,350; meal 3: fried plantain, fried egg, noodles - total N1,950.)

Dear Nairalanders, is there any other food out there that makes one drink water more than noodles? I have eaten different types of foods, but I noticed that anytime I eat noodles, I tend to drink water more often than not. Another food that comes close for me is beans - luckily I eat it once in a blue moon.
