Hello Everyone! Does anyone know the meaning of the surname "Osumah"? My grandmother was Esan and it was her maiden name. However, I can't seem to find any credible answers to this question when I searched online about the surname. I will say that I do have a strong feeling that it's a West African version of an Arabic name, but I can't confirm that though.

He paid the caution fee. Two weeks later, the landlord changed his story. Let me ask you something. If you pay ₦300,000 as a caution fee today, who protects that money tomorrow if there is a disagreement? A young man recently found an apartment he liked. The house looked good.

The Supreme Council of Traditional Worshipers of Nigeria (@africa_sctwn) wishes to express dissatisfaction over the persistent harassment, discrimination, and destruction of sacred sites of African traditional religion (ATR) worshippers by dominant religious groups and state actors, violating constitutional rights to freedom of worship. We ask the authorities that are concerned to investigate the incidents that happened at Onne in Rivers State, which include the demolition of shrines, societal intimidation, and the profiling of traditional religion worshipers under the guise of security or religious cleansing.

If you're building in Lagos this August, here are some current prices I've been able to cross-check. One thing to bear in mind: construction material prices are not fixed. The supplier, quantity, brand, specification, delivery location and buying conditions can all change the final price. Cement — 50kg: ₦12,500 – ₦15,000 (current Lagos retail range reported by recent market reporting) Iron rod — 12m bar equivalent (calculated from current per-tonne prices for different TMT brands; actual shop prices can be different) 12mm TMT: approximately ₦11,100 – ₦14,500/bar 16mm TMT: approximately ₦19,700 – ₦25,800/bar 20mm TMT: approximately ₦30,800 – ₦40,200/bar 25mm TMT: approximately ₦48,100 – ₦62,900/bar Granite / Chippings: 30-ton Lagos delivery: approximately ₦810,000 – ₦860,000 (current supplier listing covers 1", ¾" and ½" granite, with delivery within Lagos) Don't use one internet price to decide whether your contractor is overcharging you.
