How many of these do you consider another Muslim's right upon you? Please, ask yourself:

*(1)* Do you greet other Muslims whenever you come across them, whether you know them or not?

*(2)* Do you accept invitations from Muslims or do you reject the invitations of those you consider “beneath” you? To view yourself as superior because of what Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) has bestowed upon you is an act of arrogance, one of the major sins in Islam.

To keep away from events where Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) is disobeyed is commendable and a Muslim should not participate in disobedience to Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) because of having been “invited” by another.

*(3)* Do you give sincere advice when asked, putting yourself in your Muslim brother/sister’s shoes? If not, this is a betrayal of trust and a form of lying.

*(4)* When a Muslim sneezes and says 'Alhamdulillah' do you say 'Yarhamakullah'?

*(5)* Do you visit or at least call when you hear of a Muslim's illness?

*(6)* Do you take time out to join the Funeral of a Muslim when he/she dies?

These are required of you. This means that doing these earns Sawaab/Hasanaat for you while neglecting them accrues sins for you.

We Pray Allah to continue to guard and guide us Aright, Protect us, Have Mercy on us, Increase us in Knowledge, Provisions and Piety and Enable us become better MUSLIMS, better NIGERIANS.

To the Israelites, this is the fulfillment of a divine promise. But that narrative relies on looking at the story from only one side.

What did these events look like to the people already living in the land?

This analysis treats the biblical account strictly as a narrative text to examine its internal logic. The question is not whether these events occurred historically, but rather: If we accept the biblical narrative on its own terms, what do these actions look like from the perspective of the original inhabitants?

1. Canaan Was Already Fully Inhabited

The land was not an empty wilderness waiting to be defined. The biblical text itself acknowledges that it was already Canaan long before any Israelite arrived:

• Genesis 12:5 confirms Abraham entered the "land of Canaan."
• Genesis 13:7 notes that the Canaanites and Perizzites were already living there.

• Genesis 23:2 places Abraham in Canaan at the time of Sarah’s death.

The narrative explicitly names the established nations occupying the territory: the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Jebusites, Amorites, and Girgashites.

There is an absolute moral difference between two distinct claims:

• "God gave our ancestors an empty piece of land."

• "God promised our ancestors a land already owned and occupied by other nations, whom we must violently dispossess."

The biblical text describes the second scenario.

Moses had been away for 40 days and nights, the people of Israel became impatient and wanted to move on without him who lead them through the Red Sea. Aaron that should had known better, helped them fashion their gold earrings to cast a golden calf.

He built an altar for the calf and the Israel went into a spiritual frenzy.

Exodus 32:6 So they got up early the next day and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; then the people sat down to eat and drink, and got up to play [shamefully—without moral restraint].

That was the beginning of their doom in the wilderness. They did not enter God’s rest, the promised land. As the Egyptian army and chariots perished in the Red Sea, so the impatient Israelites perished in the wilderness of Sinai.

Numbers 14:30 Not one of you will enter the land I swore with uplifted hand to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

Out of a million people that crossed the Red Sea, only 2 entered the promised land. The fear of God remains the beginning of wisdom. Impatience is not for the wise and true believer.

They may have wondered how death looks like: but today, they are no more. They have tasted death and they have gone to eternity. They are in heaven or hell fire.

You that is still alive, it is time to hold unto Jesus Christ. Accept Jesus and repent of your sins now: tomorrow may be too late.

Pray now and tell Jesus to have mercy on you: tell Him you are very sorry for all your sins, tell Him to forgive all your sins and come into your life now.

Only Jesus Christ can take you to heaven.
