Must they have beautiful eyes (e.g. Surah Al-Waqiah 56:22, Surah Ad-Dukhan 54:54)? What if they just have black eyes and are dwarfs?

It is a beautiful display of skills, unity, love and service. Whatever gift Allah has given you, use it to contribute to the progress of the Ummah; your contribution does not have to be great - no sincere effort is too small.

Teach if you can teach. Write if you can write.

Create if you can create. Organize if you can organize. Help if you can help. Give if you can give. Contribute, no matter how small, in whatever way you can. Let your love for the Prophet (SAW) inspire you to be of service to his Ummah.

The movement itself: founded 1913 by Timothy Drew, rebranded "Noble Drew Ali", who told Black migrants fleeing Jim Crow they were "Moors/Asiatics" who could escape oppression with a fake Moroccan nationality.

Its holy text, the Circle 7 Koran, has nothing to do with orthodox Islam: the first 19 chapters were copied nearly word-for-word from Levi Dowling's 1908 occult book "The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ" (esoteric teachings depicting Jesus studying in India and Tibet), and the rest plagiarized from the pamphlet "Unto Thee I Grant".

He received no divine revelation - he cut up American New Age books and stamped a holy seal on them. Medieval Europeans used "Moor" carelessly for anyone dark-skinned; turning a 500-year-old vocabulary error into genetic ancestry is false. We can admire Al-Andalus without falsely claiming to have built it.

This matters because pre-Islamic Arabia placed extraordinary value on poetry, eloquence and mastery of language; skilled poets were highly respected. Yet the unlettered Prophet began conveying words of remarkable linguistic power, rhetorical precision, rhythm, structure and depth - neither conventional poetry nor ordinary prose - challenging the very people most qualified to evaluate Arabic eloquence.

The Qur'an issued a direct challenge: "And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our servant, then produce a surah like it..." (2:23) - he was not claiming to be a talented speaker but declaring the words were the revelation of Allah. Its preservation, profound message, theological coherence, transformative power and linguistic character all form part of the case for its divine origin: "It is not the word of a poet - little do you believe" (69:41).

For Muslims the Qur'an remains the enduring miracle: the revelation conveyed by the unlettered Prophet.

But Allah planned for Yusuf: victory was for Yusuf, not his brothers; honour was for Yusuf, not his brothers. Anyone going through hardship due to others' actions must understand that their test is to live through that hardship with worship, complaining only to Allah, trying to attain closeness to Him and turning the hardship into good deeds in the hereafter.

Yusuf did not forget what his brothers did, yet he still forgave them for the sake of Allah, and remained respectful to his parents.

Allah made his oppressors humbled and needy while He made Yusuf high and noble - established in the land, protected, honoured, elevated. Be obedient to Allah and even if you are thrown into a well, He will protect you and honour you in full view of those who did you wrong.

Listen, read, recite, study, learn, apply - the Quran is not a remedy, it is THE remedy.

Therefore be mindful of your attachments and loving anything or anyone except for Allaah's sake; reflect deeply on where you direct your emotions, love and attachments, as these will determine your peace or suffering in both this world and the Hereafter. Allaahu l-Musta'aan.

He said: "Verily, I was not sent to invoke curses, but rather I was only sent as mercy" (Sahih Muslim 2599).

And when the arrows of Thaqif had wounded the Companions and they asked him to pray against them, he could have cursed them but prayed for their guidance instead: "O Allah, guide the tribe of Thaqif!"

(Sunan al-Tirmidhi 3942). That is the Sunnah of mercy - not pretending evil doesn't exist, not excusing injustice, but remembering that guidance can turn an enemy into a brother.

Don't be too quick to ask Allah to destroy someone He may choose to guide. Allaahul Musta'aan.
