Thick Skin Under Foot

Good morning everyone, I trust you'all are keeping well. I feel something under my foot each time I am walking on a hard surface, especially when I am walking barefoot. It feels like a hard skin. Sometimes I have to use razor blade to scrape out some of the skin. Please does anyone know what may be the cause? Thank you.
