Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has played down calls for President Bola Tinubu to hand over power to Vice President Kashim Shettima.
According to him, there is no leadership vacuum in Aso Rock, despite the President’s continued working vacation abroad.
Speaking on Tuesday, in Akwa Ibom State, while commisioning road projects executed by Governor Umo Eno, Akpabio addressed public concern over Tinubu’s three-week holiday, which was recently extended by one week. He insisted the President remains fully in office and continues to carry out his constitutional duties.
