Logistics manager Israel DMW is thanking the late former President, Muhammadu Buhari. In a social media post, he appreciated the late President for allowing a credible election in Edo State during his administration. He noted that he gave Edolites the right to choose whoever they wanted as Governor, despite it being an off-cycle election. “General Muhammadu Buhari, at least, you conducted a very free and credible election in Edo State while in power.
You gave us Edolites the right to choose whoever we wanted as Governor, despite it being an off-cycle election. What we later saw after you left was full impunity that has continually brought us public disgrace. Rest on, great General”. His post comes hours after FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, at a public forum, revealed how he worked against the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to help Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerge as Governor of Edo State in the 2024 governorship election.
When Edo Governor’s aide, Apostle Kassy Chukwu, declared that Davido was banned from performing in Edo State, Israel made it clear that no one can ban Davido from the state. He pointed out the irony that Kassy isn’t from Edo, but from Ebonyi. After Adeleke’s victory at Osun election, Israel shamed Monday Okpebholo, describing him as a purely stark illiterate. He said Monday doesn’t represent who we are in Edo.
The logistics manager posed a question to Nigerians as he declared himself a real Nigerian. Davido’s media aide asked if they are truly Nigerian and can show the public their parents’ relatives. Israel DMW had issued a warning to Nigerians, telling them to think before collecting money or food items to sell their souls in the 2027 election. In a previous post, Israel spoke on elections in Nigeria, noting that winning an election in Nigeria isn’t determined by popular opinion on social media but by the highest number of votes cast on election day.
He said he would rather pick a waybill for a friend in Warri than to vote for APC in 2027. Last year, after the Apex court dismissed Edo State candidate, Asue Ighodalo’s petition to annul Monday Okpebholor’s declaration as the winner, Israel shared a photo of Ighodalo receiving anointing from a clergyman, as he made him know that anointing doesn’t win elections in Nigeria. Israel called on the Governor of Edo State, Okpebholo, to resign with immediate effect.
He noted that the state hasn’t had peace since he took over and claimed that the ancestors were angry with him over the pure robbery in the state. Israel urged him to hand over to his opponent, Asue Ighadalo, whom he believed the most Edolites voted for as their Governor.
