Speaking during the celebration, Mr. M. Daniel Ofangbah expressed gratitude to God, recalling the difficult circumstances he experienced while growing up.

He said he lost his father at about 12 years of age and later lost his mother, adding that he had passed through different challenges before reaching the milestone.

According to him, his achievements were a result of perseverance, faith in God and commitment to whatever he found himself doing.

Ofangbah urged people to put God first in whatever they do, stressing that faith and perseverance remain important in overcoming life’s challenges.

He referenced Psalm 23, encouraging people not to be afraid of opposition and stressing that God remains the ultimate source of strength and success.

His wife, Mrs. A. Stella Ofangbah, described the celebration as a major surprise, saying she did not expect such a large gathering.

She advised women to exercise patience and support their husbands, while also speaking about the importance of maintaining peace within the family.

The celebrant’s last child, Miss Faith Ofangbah, described her father as a loving father and grandfather who extends his care beyond his immediate family.

She said his ability to treat many people as members of his family was one of the qualities that made him unique.

Faith prayed for her father to enjoy many more years in good health, prosperity, happiness and laughter, noting that he was someone who loved to laugh.

A family member, Mr. Alex Ofangbah, said the original plan was for a small celebration involving family and close friends, but the number of people who turned up made the occasion much bigger than expected.

He attributed the large turnout to Ofangbah’s contributions to people’s lives and said the celebration demonstrated the love and respect people have for him.

He urged people to learn to appreciate one another, live peacefully and allow love to guide their relationships.

A representative of the 149 Battalion, Warrant Officer Momo, also joined other guests in celebrating Ofangbah. He prayed for longevity, prosperity, good health and continued blessings for the celebrant and his family.
