Hey Nairalanders,
Pushing performance to the limit took longer than expected, but Lumeno Player V1.2 is finally live!
My main focus this round was raw speed. Lumeno supports a clean, complete exit. Even after a total close, cold startup is noticeably faster than most players, and tapping a song starts playback instantly without hitching. Please test scrolling and playing on your phones—I really need your honest feedback to see if any lag remains.
What's new in V1.2:
Artists & Albums: Browse by artist or album from the home tabs, complete with detail pages and editable covers/portraits.
Playback Queue: Reorder tracks, swipe to delete, and toggle loop modes. Tap the animated playing bar at the top-right to instantly jump back to the current track.
Two New Skins: Added Retro Wave (80s sunset & horizon) and Prismatic Flow (electric prism light) for a fresh visual vibe.
Deep Performance & Bug Fixes: Heavy tuning on startup, smooth list scrolling, and multiple community-reported fixes.
Give Lumeno a run and let me know how the scrolling and speed feel on your device!
